| This is supposed to be the part where I tell you how I’ve been a photographer since birth, or that a class I took in high school or college sparked something deep inside. But really? I’m a late bloomer. I started getting serious about learning how my camera works when I got my first DSLR several years ago. I photographed everything—trees, birds, flowers, pets, you name it and I was on it like butter on toast. After I learned my camera, I decided to try photographing people. |

| That was when I realized hey, I kind of like this. And by “kind of,” I mean I fell head over heels. I get to push myself to see things differently every time I shoot, not to mention I get focus my attention on awesome people in love. I adore getting to be the person who records memories and love. |

| Who am I as a person? I am a photographer who loves to write, an introvert who enjoys being with people, a serious conversationalist who is a closet comedienne, a traveler who likes to kick it at home, a movie enthusiast who is a fervent reader, an East Coast girl who adores California, and a mountain lover who can’t get enough of the ocean. In others words, I’m a walking contradiction! I’m a wife, daughter, sister, and friend. I love my friends like family. I love to send and receive honest-to-goodness mail. Oh, and I’m a big fan of mustard yellow. |
